Aspawaag introduces a new era in weighing asparagus spears. It combines optimal measuring and the exact recording of weight to create the market’s most intelligent weighing unit.

The quality and weight of each individual asparagus spear are determined by the measurement camera. The individual spears are then brought together in bunches on the asparagus silos on the basis of weight as previously been specified. Each silo is equipped with scales which constantly check the total weight of the bunch. This minimises faulty weighing processes and prevents complaints.

• Inclusion of different qualities of asparagus as per your specifications
• Real-time weight check: because the total weight of the bunches is checked, spears (broken or unattractive) can be taken out of the silos during the sorting process. Aspawaag automatically refills until the target weight is reached.
• Cutting unit integrated into the machine for subsequent cutting of the spears to dimensions suitable for sale.
